‘Continue Growth’ is a response to the idea of the ‘white cube’.
The piece takes inspiration from the painting ‘Work’ by Yuki Katsura and seeks to push against the idea of the ‘white cube’ as a constraining unit of logic.
Traditional flour and water papier-mâché supported over a free-form wire armature, constructed from within the constraints of the cube.
